Give Money Get Things (and feel good about yourself)
Elimination Station
About half way through my one-man show, “Ryan O’Connor Eats His Feelings”, I have always sung a song by Katie Thompson called “America’s Queen”. The song was especially written for me to hopefully gain Oprah Winfrey’s attention and convince her to have me on the 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show. The people who live there need places to eat, too. ...
Literal Oprahtunity

But, sometimes, it’s a funny thing when you actually have the opportunity in front of you you have always dreamed of. Suddenly, it becomes real. Real means important. Important means scary. Scary means two things,...

Client: ”I love the job you did! Thanks so much!”
Me: ”Great! Best of luck with it! I sent you the invoice. We did more than what we had agreed to and did not charge you for it.”
Client: ”Yes, and as soon as I get your expenses, I will pay you.”
Me: ”What do you mean by our expenses?”
